Family Law

Family law is the set of legal norms and institutions that regulate the personal and patrimonial relations of the members that make up the family. This branch of law is in charge of regulating marital and parental-family relationships, including marriage, filiation and adoption.

Family law is important because it establishes the rules that govern family assets and the types of conjugal union. In addition, this branch of law protects the rights of family members and guarantees the fulfillment of their duties and obligations.
